In light of the COVID-19 Crisis and the evolving public health situation, OAAG continues to work remotely and is actively engaged with the stakeholders on behalf of its membership. OAAG is giving significant input to the governments at all levels in providing immediate relief measures.

OAAG initiated a two-phase IMPACT SURVEY of our membership and reported its finding to the Federal and Provincial governments and their funding agencies. This has caught media attention and OAAG is actively engaged with them in highlighting the impact of the crisis on the sector and membership.

We are mindful of the setting in of a survey fatigue for our membership and appreciate the response rate to our requests.

We have set up this new Digital platform for COVID-19 Crisis Response, where the membership can come together for sharing information, discussions and advisories. This will enable membership to have a one-stop-shop for all the resources including Webinars.

OAAG is also fostering cross-sectoral collaborations with its engagement with the not-for-profit network like Imagine Canada. We highlighted the role of the Art Service Organization (ASO) by initiating a national ASO’s survey to understand the impact on the ASO to identity further relief measures.
